**Winter Shutdown: 22 June – 13 July**
Time to Rest, Recharge & Rally Behind Some Big Club Events!

As we hit the mid-year mark, it’s time for a well-earned winter break! From **Saturday 22nd June to Saturday 13th July**, there will be **no regular squad training**—giving our hardworking coaches (and parents and volunteers!) a much-needed breather.

But while training pauses, the club is far from quiet. Here’s what’s happening during the shutdown:

🛠 **29 June – Bunnings Sausage Sizzle Fundraiser**
We’ll be firing up the BBQ at Bunnings and raising funds for new equipment. We’d love your help flipping snags or simply popping by for a snag in bread to support the cause. Every dollar makes a difference!

🚣‍♀️ **2–4 July – Winter Rowing Camp**
Our Bow Ballers, Rockover River Riders and Catch Queens will be on the water and off-site for a three-day training camp. It’s going to be a great opportunity for skill development, team bonding, and high-energy fun.

🛶 **7–13 July – Learn to Row Program**
We’re introducing the next generation of rowers to the sport we love. Senior rowers—if you’re around, we’d be so grateful for your help supporting these new recruits. It’s a great way to give back and inspire the future of the club.

Enjoy the rest, and we can’t wait to hit the water refreshed and ready from **Sunday 14th July**. Let’s make Term 3 one to remember!
