October 15, 2024 [Secretary Written by Secretary](https://mrrc.club/blog/author/secretary) 1 Min Read We’re thrilled to announce that **Maroochy River Rowing Club** has been successful in receiving a **Sunshine Coast Council Utilities Grant**! This generous grant will provide our club with **$3,000 per year for the next three years**, helping us cover essential operational costs such as **insurance, electricity, and garden maintenance**. Grants like this make a real difference — they allow us to keep our **running costs low**, which in turn means we can continue to keep **membership fees affordable** for all our rowers and families. A **huge thank you** to our devoted Treasurer, **Kate Collier**, for the time and effort she put into completing the grant application. Her behind-the-scenes work is a big part of what keeps our club running smoothly. We are also very grateful to **Sunshine Coast Council** for their ongoing support and recognition of the valuable role our club plays in the local community.
